Cuba!

Written as a love letter to a country that captured the hearts of the authors, this cookbook can transport you to the streets of Cuba. The colorful photos and engaging stories give a glimpse into the culture and traditions surrounding Cuban food, and is a wonderful way to cure an afternoon of wanderlust.

I'm all fired up for a cuban feast this weekend — maybe Ribs with Guava BBQ Sauce or Braised Garlic Chicken with Yellow Rice? Some Picadillo and Yuca Fries. I don't know about you, but my mouth is definitely watering. Mojito anyone? 

Vegetable oil is used extensively throughout the recipes in this cookbook. Be mindful to use an 8SAFE cooking oil (such as canola oil) and not soy oil or a vegetable oil containing soy. Alternately, you can try substituting with 100% pure olive oil.
